What is Fixture Tape?
Fixture Tape is a purpose-built printed gaffer tape developed for use in lighting and production applications. Its pre-labelled fields for FIXT, CHAN/MODE, UNIV, and DMX allow technicians to quickly record and display key fixture data.
The tape provides a simple alternative to handwritten identification systems. Users can write the necessary information, apply the tape directly to equipment, and maintain clear, consistent labelling across warehouses, installation projects, tours, and live productions.

Can you write on Fixture Tape?
Yes, fixture tape can be written on using most permanent markers.
Can written text be removed from Fixture Tape?
We recommend using a permanent marker to write on Fixture Tape. Therefore, it cannot be removed easily, especially as the marker ink will likely absorb into the tape.
Does Fixture Tape leave residue when removed?
Fixture Tape is made with a residue-resistant MagTape™ adhesive. It is designed to be removed cleanly for up to 120 days after application. Always test on a small area first as some surfaces and environments may cause the adhesive to transfer.

Fixture Tape is made using a printed version of Le Mark’s renowned MagTape™ Ultra gaffer tape. It is a professional, industrial-grade cloth/gaffer tape designed for the arts and entertainment industry.
