Flexi-PAL FAQs
How long do Flexi-PALs last?
Flexi-PALs are designed as a long-term identification solution and are manufactured using durable materials to withstand the demands of touring, production, rental, and industrial environments. When correctly sewn in, they can remain in place for many years under normal use. Factors such as excessively rough handling may affect longevity, but the labels are intended to provide a robust and long-term solution.
How do I apply Flexi-PAL Labels?
For best results, Flexi-PALs should be professionally sewn onto a clean, dry and empty equipment bag. Use a suitable thread and stitch around all edges of the label.
Ensure the label is positioned correctly before sewing and lies flat against the fabric surface. For larger labels, it may be helpful to temporarily secure the label in place with pins or masking tape before stitching. Check that all edges are firmly attached to prevent lifting and ensure long-lasting performance.
Can Flexi-PALs be removed?
Yes. Although Flexi-PALs are intended to be long-term, permanent labels, they can be removed by carefully unpicking the stitching which holds them in place.
Are Flexi-PALs the same as Le Mark PAL Labels?
Flexi-PALs are similar to Le Mark PAL Labels™ in that they both feature a similar reusable write-on, wipe-off surface. However, the method of application is very different. PAL Labels are designed to adhere to solid surfaces, such as flight cases, using a super-strong high-tack adhesive. Flexi-PALs, on the other hand, are non-adhesive and are designed to be sewn onto fabric items such as equipment bags, costumes, and other textile-based assets.
Are Flexi-PALs reusable?
Yes. Flexi-PALs feature a write-on, wipe-off surface that allows them to be reused time and time again. For best results, Le Mark recommends using the official PAL™ Pen for writing and PAL™ Label Cleaner to remove ink when required.
What format do you accept for artwork?
We’ll work with you anyway we can, but preferably, and for the best quality, we ask that artwork is supplied in a Vector Graphic AI/EPS file or a high resolution PDF (1MB or above).
Can you print CMYK, RAL or HEX?
We find that printing to Pantones gives us the best final finish. We’re happy to work with you and convert the CMYK, HEX or RAL to the closest Pantone.
Can I have multiple designs across the MOQ?
Unfortunately, due to the setup and clean down times of all our print machinery, we’re unable to mix different designs within the same MOQ or order run.
How long does it take to receive my labels?
You can expect delivery of your labels within 7-10 days of order confirmation. Please check with us first as lead times may vary, especially during busier times.
